We enjoy working on micro editions and self-published books. This can be anything you have created yourself, on your computer, or even hand-written on individual pages. It can be a family history, a cookbook, a memoir, a book about an area of special interest, a poetry book...anything you can write can be bound into a professional-looking, REAL hardcover book.
Your finished book does not have to be a "standard" pages size. We are happy to bind pages that are some size other than 8.5"x11". We can bind pages up to 15" tall by 12" wide.
You will get a quantity discount if you bind more than one copy under the same title at a time. The cover lettering must be the same on every book in order to get this discount. However, you can have different cover colors within the same order at no extra charge. (Example: if you are binding a family history, you could have a red cover for your sister, a black cover for your brother, a purple cover for your niece, etc.).
Please click on "Information on Printing Your Pages" for advice on how to set up and print your self-published pages for binding.
If you live in the Champaign-Urbana (Illinois) area, you can see examples of our cover materials when you drop off your pages for binding. You will also find contact information for a trusted local printer if you do not want to print the pages yourself.
If you want to place and order long-distance, please contact us to discuss your order. We will want to know things like what color the cover should be, what lettering you want on the cover and where, etc.
Micro editions and self-published book orders typically have a 1-3 week turnaround from the time we receive your pages. Turnaround time depends on quantity.
We know you put a great deal of time and effort into your self-published projects. We put in the time and effort to make sure your finished product looks professional yet still personalized and unique.
